Description
Optimize Your Turbocharger. A lot of times your turbocharger can only work as well as its intercooler. This is because it’s the intercooler’s job to convert hot intake air into usable cold air for your engine. The Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping is able to provide your engine with larger volumes of cold air in a way that your stock can’t. In fact, this intercooler lowers intake air by 10-degrees Fahrenheit, as well as significantly increasing airflow and volume. This large amount of cooler air translates to a more complete combustion, resulting in higher torque and horsepower.
Designed for Efficiency. Compared to your F-150’s stock intercooler, the Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping increases its external fin area by 163%. This and the 77% increased internal core volume means intake air is cooled down faster and in larger volumes. The included free-flowing aluminum pipes come with a 38% increase in internal volume compared to stock, adding to the increased air volume. Lastly, this intercooler uses unique DuraCore silicone couplers for increased resistance to degradation.
Tough Aluminum Build Quality. The Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping is completely TIG-welded from high-grade aluminum. This ensures an exceptional heat exchange and excellent corrosion-resistance. The cold-side intercooler tubes feature a CNC-milled disconnect flange and IAT sensor housing. Finally, the whole assembly is finished in a black powder coat for increased corrosion resistance, as well as great looks.
Easy, No Mod Installation. The Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping bolts-on directly to your F-150's factory intercooler location. Despite its size, this intercooler will fit perfectly and won’t need any modifications to your truck.
