Description
Heavy-Duty Protection. The Mazzulla Offroad Skid Plate with Tow Hook Cutouts is designed to safeguard the underside of the Chevy Silverado 1500 during off-road driving and rugged use. It shields vital components from damage while improving the vehicle?s approach angle, enhancing capability and durability on challenging terrain. This skid plate integrates seamlessly with the factory bumper for a secure fit and added strength.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 1/8" 5052 aluminum, this skid plate is CNC cut and formed to ensure precision and durability. It features a raw, non-polished finish with a laser film seal on one side to protect against corrosion. The design complements the factory body lines, maintaining a cohesive and rugged aesthetic.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill with drilling and cutting necessary for proper fitment. Removal or modification of factory frame catch brackets and plastic valance is also required to install the skid plate.
Application. This skid plate is specifically designed for the 16-18 Silverado 1500 and will not fit GMC trucks. It is not compatible with body lifts or some lift kits.
