Once installed, it’s recommended you don’t drive your truck for 24 hours to ensure complete adhesion of the tape. Also, when installing these in cold weather, it’s a good idea to first warm up the mounting surfaces using a heat gun or hairdryer. This is because the adhesive works best on warm surfaces.
