Description
Performance Intercooler. The Garrett Intercooler is a high-efficiency charge air cooler engineered to reduce intake air temperatures and enhance engine performance. It lowers charge air temperature by up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit and reduces pressure drop by 30%, improving air density and power output, essential for reliable performance in demanding driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Built entirely from aluminum with TIG welded construction and cast aluminum end tanks, this intercooler ensures increased strength and durability for both on-road and off-road use. The advanced offset fin design paired with a vacuum brazed bar-and-plate core enhances cooling efficiency while maintaining a rugged, refined appearance.
Installation. This direct-fit intercooler installs easily without modifications or drilling. It reuses all stock bolts, hoses, and clamps. Note that removing the active grill shutters is necessary for proper fitment.
Application. Specifically designed for 2015-2020 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost engines, this intercooler offers a premium upgrade tailored to these model years and powertrains.
