Compared to stock, this upgraded intercooler is capable of reducing intake air temperature by up to 10-degrees Fahrenheit. Airflow and air volume are also increased. This larger supply of cold intake air into your engine ensures more complete fuel combustion, efficiently improving power gains.
Superior Air-Flow Cooling. The Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping bumps its external fin surface area by a whopping 163% with a 77% increase in internal core volume. Wider intercooler pipes increases airflow by 24% over stock. These various elements work towards superior cool air-flow into your engine. Despite this free-flowing design, air pressure is not reduced, ensuring that your engine gets the same amount of cold air as stock. Additionally, this intercooler kit uses proprietary DuraCore silicone couplers for increased durability.
Durable Aluminum Build Quality. The Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping is constructed from durable, high-grade aluminum for maximum corrosion resistance and heat resistance. This intercooler is completely TIG-welded for rigidity. The cold-side intercooler pipes come with CNC-milled IAT sensor housing and a quick disconnect flange and can be drilled to accommodate a methanol injection system. Lastly, the intercooler and its aluminum pipes are finished in a black powder coating for added corrosion-resistance and a bold look.
Simple, No-Mod Installation. The Mishimoto Black Performance Intercooler Kit with Black Piping is designed as a direct bolt-on unit. Despite its size, the intercooler fits perfectly in the factory intercooler’s location without any modifications. This intercooler kit includes all necessary mounting hardware for a relatively simple installation.
