Description
Advanced Cooling Performance. The Intercooler Upgrade Kit dramatically enhances cooling efficiency by significantly reducing inlet air temperatures, helping maintain engine performance under high load. It efficiently lowers charge air temperatures, which prevents power loss due to heat soak and improves throttle response for boosted EcoBoost engines.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from aerospace-grade materials, this intercooler features a 3.5-inch thick bar-and-plate intercooler core with TIG-welded end tanks and hand-fabricated high-strength steel lower support beams for added strength. The end tanks are aerodynamically cast with internal flow dividers, and an optional black powder coating is available to protect the finish and enhance visual appeal.
Installation. Designed for a straightforward, direct bolt-on installation, this intercooler retains factory sensors and purge solenoid fittings and requires no major modifications or drilling. Professional installation is recommended for optimal fitment and performance.
