The FOX Performance Series 2.5 IFP HTO Rear Shock for 6 to 8-Inch Lift enhances the ride quality and handling of lifted trucks by providing advanced position-sensitive damping. Engineered for superior control on and off-road, it optimizes shock oil and nitrogen separation with its internal floating piston design to ensure consistent damping under varying conditions and prevent harsh top-outs with its hydraulic top out piston.

Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from impact extruded 6061-T6 aluminum, the shock body is both lightweight and durable. The Type II clear anodized finish efficiently dissipates heat and resists corrosion. The 5/8-inch shock shaft features a hard chrome plating to improve wear resistance, and the integrated internal floating piston and hydraulic top out piston provide refined damping control.

Installation. This shock is a bolt-on replacement designed for direct installation without drilling or modifications, making it simple to replace OEM rear shocks on trucks lifted between 6 and 8 inches.
