Description
Premium Shorty Headers. The Flowtech 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers in polished finish are engineered to enhance exhaust flow and boost engine performance. Designed specifically for LT series V8 engines, these headers improve exhaust velocity while maintaining a direct fit to factory exhaust components.
Construction and Appearance. Built from mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing with heavy duty 16-gauge thickness, these headers feature a polished semi-gloss silver finish. The TIG-welded 3/8-inch thick flanges are precision machined to provide a leak-free connection and long-lasting durability.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no cutting or welding due to the OE style 2-1/2-inch ball and socket collector design. Included mounting hardware facilitates a secure fit, making the installation process moderate in difficulty.
Application. These headers fit 2014-2015 V8 Silverado 1500 models equipped with 5.3L and 6.2L LT engines, compatible with both 2WD and 4WD configurations.
