      Description

      Maximizes Potential HP and Torque Gains. Enhance the power and capabilities of your Chevrolet Silverado’s engine by installing these AFE Twisted Steel Short Headers. These headers can potentially provide up to 18 horsepower and 26 lbs x feet torque gains when used in conjunction with AFE’s Y-pipe. These headers are also fitted with mitered collectors that will effectively eliminate flow-back turbulence. Unlike standard formed collectors, these mitered collectors are tuned to reduce turbulence while increasing exhaust velocity to give your ride a superb performance.

      Retains Stock Cat Converters. AFE’s Twisted Steel Shorty Headers are designed for direct bolt-on installations, and will work perfectly with your Silverado’s factory catalytic converters. Using these stock cat converters, you need not worry about violating any emissions regulations.

      Top-of-the-Line Construction and Design. These Twisted Steel Shorty Headers are made of mandrel-bent, 16-gauge 409 stainless steel that is 1-3/4 in. thick. It features an optimized tube length to guarantee an improved gas flow that will definitely be visible in your ride’s overall performance. In addition, these headers feature a one-piece and thick flange design guaranteeing a leak-free seal that will last for years of use. With these headers installed on your vehicle, you’re sure to get a monstrous performance that’s fit for your adventurous lifestyle.

      Not CARB Certified. These headers do not have CARB certification, and thus not legal for use in California or on any vehicle that is currently listed with the California Department of Motor Vehicle. In addition, these headers are intended for racing competition use only and in no circumstance should be utilized for highway, street, or non-racing off-road driving.

      Installation Notes. For better flow performance and additional HP gains, these headers are recommended to be used in conjunction with AFE’s MACH Force-XP Y-Pipes.

      Application. You can install AFE’s 1-3/4-inch Twisted Steel Shorty Headers on all 6.2L Chevrolet Silverado models released between 2014 and 2018.
