The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler; 3-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet delivers an aggressive sound profile engineered for enhanced exhaust flow and superior scavenging. It is designed to improve exhaust performance while providing a distinct sound suitable for street, strip, and off-road applications.

Construction and Appearance. Built from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this chambered muffler features Flowmaster’s signature Delta Flow technology with fully MIG welded construction for long-lasting durability. It is finished with a high-temperature black paint to withstand harsh operating conditions and resist corrosion.

Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skill with a slip-fit inlet and dual outlet connections. No drilling is typically necessary; however, new hangers are required and are not included with the muffler.

Application. Fits universal vehicle types including 4 and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip, and truck/SUV applications; some adaptation may be required for specific installations.
