Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Center Oval Muffler with 2.50-Inch Inlet and Outlet delivers aggressive sound and enhanced exhaust scavenging for improved performance. Designed for street, strip, and off-road use, it optimizes exhaust flow while controlling interior resonance for a refined driving experience.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features full MIG welding for maximum strength and longevity. Its black high-temperature paint finish offers resistance to heat and corrosion while presenting a sleek, aggressive look.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections, requiring no welding for clamp-on applications. The muffler mounts using new hangers which are not included, and some adaptation may be necessary for universal fitment.
Application. This muffler fits a wide range of vehicles including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs. It is universal and may require some adaptation during installation.
