- Manual relearn using a TPMS scan tool is required. Install TPMS sensors and adjust tire pressures to the placard value following the manufacturer’s outlined procedure. Place the vehicle into relearn mode using a scan tool, then scan tires starting at the left front (LF). The horn will honk to acknowledge each sensor ID code has been learned successfully. Repeat for right front (RF), rear right (RR), and rear left (LR) tires. After the last tire is scanned, a double horn honk confirms the completion of the process. Turn ignition ON with engine OFF, then drive the vehicle to complete the relearn process.
