How to Install E & G Billet Style Upper Overlay Grilles - Polished (16-17 Silverado 1500) on your Chevy Silverado

1. Remove the twelve factory push pins from the radiator support panel cover and remove the cover for factory grille mounting hardware access.

2. Remove the four upper 10mm bolts retaining the factory grille to the core support.

3. Lift up on the factory grille and pull the grille forward to release the top of the grille from the core support.

4. Use a long, flat blade screwdriver or pry bar to release the lower clips retaining the bottom of the factory grille.

Place the factory grille face up onto a clean, well padded work area for the following grille installation

5. Align the grilles into place, making sure that they are prefectly centered. Use wide masking tape at the edges to hold the grilles in proper alignment (see arrows), then turn the grille assembly face down for mounting hardware installation.

6. Install the large black plastic washers and 3/16” speed nuts over the protruding studs and tighten until the grille sections are tight against the factory grille.

7. Reinstall the grille assembly by reversing Steps 1-4. Remove the masking tape and clean the grille to finish the installation.
