      Description

      Trail Protection Solution. The DV8 Offroad Xtract Hitch Skid Plate is designed to protect the underside of your vehicle’s hitch receiver from damage during off-road use. It offers both abrasion protection and serves as a heavy-duty recovery point for vehicle recovery on rugged terrain.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from premium 6061-T6 billet aluminum in a one-piece design for maximum strength and durability, this skid plate includes a replaceable Delrin skid pad that reduces friction and prevents hitch wear. It is available in black, raw aluminum, or red finishes. An optional aluminum skid pad upgrade is also available for enhanced protection.

      Installation. This skid plate installs easily onto standard 2” hitch receivers using a ?” pin. No drilling or permanent modifications are required, making it a straightforward upgrade for most vehicles.

      Warranty. The product is backed by a one-year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.

      Application. Designed to fit universal 2” hitch receivers with a ?” pin. It is not compatible with 2.5” hitches or OEM hitch designs such as the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma due to interference from an underside gusset.
