Installing a pair of stainless steel, Duratrek 5-inch Oval Bent End Wheel to Wheel Side Step Bars is a simple and stylish way to add a convenient step for easy entry in and out of your 1999-2006 Silverado. The extended wheel to wheel design of these Side Steps makes accessing cargo and tools in the bed of the truck much easier. Each bar is equipped with three non-slip step pads to ensure secure, reliable footing without compromising style. In addition these Side Steps also double as side armor to provide additional protection from both trail and road hazards, as well as those annoying parking lot door dings.
Heavy Duty Construction. Duratrek manufactures their Side Steps to precise specifications from heavy duty 5-inch oval stainless steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity. These Side Steps are then completed in a bright mirror polished finish for classic good looks and long lasting corrosion resistance. As part of the final assembly Duratrek installs a set of rugged non-slip step pads.
Easy, Bolt-on Installation. Duratrek Side Steps were engineered to be a direct bolt-on upgrade for your Silverado using existing factory mounting points. There is no drilling or cutting required for a clean straight forward installation. With the help of a friend and a set of basic hand tools these Side Steps can be installed in about two hours time.
