    Review & Installation Video

    Review & Install Video

So, the Corsa X-Pipe Resonator Delete Kit is going to appeal to Gen 2 Raptor owners out there for two completely different reasons. Now, first and foremost, it is going to take the relatively tamed Corsa Sport to the next level and beyond, transforming it into the face-melting Xtreme system. But, on the other hand, if you have a completely factory exhaust system and you're craving only the slightest increase in volume and turbo noise, a resonator delete kit here from Corsa will certainly be the ticket. Either way, prospective buyers can expect to drop right around 400 bucks for the 304 grade stainless X-pipe, and the simple bolt-on installation will get a relatively soft one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter from me with more detail later in the video. So, as I was saying earlier, this kit from Corsa is going to serve two completely different purposes, and let's start with probably the most common or most obvious use for this kit, and that would be to transform the Corsa Sport system, also available on the site here, to the mighty and loud Corsa Xtreme system. Now, for those who aren't aware with how Corsa rolls, they typically give owners out there a couple of different options when it comes to loudness. The Corsa Sport system is going to be the milder or tamer of the two, and then you have the Xtreme system which will just simply annihilate your drums from miles around. And since Corsa did take the modular approach to designing their 2nd Gen Raptor system, you have to grab the Sport Cat-Back or Muffler Upgrade, again, both available on the site here, in addition to the Resonator Deleting X-Pipe that we have on the table to obtain that face-melting tone. But, what do you say we break out my try and sure wake the neighbors scale here guys? And I think you know where I'm going with this one. The complete Xtreme System from Corsa is good enough to peg the wake the neighbors scale at a strong five out of five. And, listen, guys, if loud is what you are after with your Raptor, the Corsa Xtreme is going to be one of the loudest in the category. And on top of all that volume and on top of all that tone, expect boatloads of turbo noise. But let's switch the discussion over to the other reason owners might wanna check out the Corsa Resonator Delete Kit, and that is to keep things quiet. Yes, I know that probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense initially, but just hear me out. Now, some owners out there might not be overly in love with that turbocharged V6 tone but at the same time still wouldn't mind hearing just a little bit more volume and maybe just a little bit more turbo noise out of that factory system. Well, Corsa designed their X-Pipe Resonator Delete Kit to work in conjunction with your factory cat-back, obviously replacing that stock resonator with the X-pipe you see here and, as a result, just delivering a little bit more volume compared to a completely stock system. So, going back to my wake the neighbors scale, with a one essentially being a factory system, I'm gonna rank the Resonator Delete Kit in conjunction with the factory system as a strong two out of five on my one to five or one to wake the neighbors scale. Again, you're really not getting a massive increase in volume here, which some owners might be after. And if that is the case, and you'd like to accentuate the sound out of that factory system, the Corsa X-Pipe that we have here is going to be a solid option for you. So, now that I've laid out the two different reasons why you might wanna check out this kit here from Corsa, let's break down the construction and the fitment. And if you're familiar with Corsa as a company, you know you're gonna be getting a solid piece. That's usually the case, and that is the case here with this kit, albeit it's a very simple kit, right? You're not getting any mufflers or crazy piping. Instead, you're pretty much looking at the whole thing, guys, 2 and 3/4-inch tubing, all mandrel-bent and all made from 304 grade stainless steel. There is the X-pipe welded into place, as you can see, in addition to the flange which is included to help you with the installation. Corsa does also toss in these two extension pipes that will be used with the 145-inch wheelbased trucks, basically your SuperCrews, or don't use these guys and just bolt this guy into place here with all SuperCab trucks. But, with that in mind, let's talk about the installation a little bit more here. And because Corsa does include the separate extension pipes, there is no need for any cutting, any prominent modification. Instead, everything is completely reversible. So, I'm gonna go with a relatively modest one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter here, maybe an hour or so of your time depending on your set up and just how fast you like to work. Tool-wise, nothing crazy here, right? Socket set, maybe an impact gun along with some ramps or a lift to help make the install a little bit easier. Getting started, you'll need to locate and loosen the three clamps in the hardware at the flange with your factory resonator, allowing you to drop it from your Raptor. Once that is out of the way, just simply grab your Corsa, lift it into place, lining the ends into and over the factory piping, and, of course, use your extension pipes here with all SuperCrews. Leave them in the box for the SuperCab trucks. Tighten up your hardware, and your installation is complete. So, whether you're looking to achieve face-melting levels of volume with your Corsa Sport system or you'd like to just give the factory system a little bit more presence, you'll definitely wanna check out the Corsa Resonator Delete Kit right here at

            resonator delete

Pretty much as expected. Quality materials and correct for the application. Def need to take the hangers off the rear to get enough displacement to remove the factory resonator, but you don't need to remove the CAT back system as others recommend on You-Tube
