The 3rd Brake Light Camera Kit for 4.20-Inch Factory Display enhances rear visibility for your truck by adding a high-definition camera integrated into a trim bezel positioned behind the factory third brake light. This kit allows drivers to easily switch between the factory tailgate camera and this additional upper-mounted camera when reversing, improving safety and convenience when connecting trailers or monitoring the truck bed.
Construction and Appearance. The camera is premounted within a robust trim bezel designed to seamlessly fit behind the vehicle's existing third brake light assembly. It features a durable, weatherproof housing rated at IP67 for reliable performance under harsh environmental conditions. The camera's adjustable swivel head allows precise aiming, and its high-resolution CMOS sensor delivers clear, color images with night vision capabilities.
Installation. Installation requires removal of the factory third brake light to install the provided trim bezel and camera assembly. The supplied plug-and-play harness simplifies connection to the factory display, with no drilling or permanent modifications explicitly stated as required.
Warranty. This camera kit is backed by a 3-year warranty ensuring long-lasting quality and reliability.
