Description
Excellent Handling for the Road and Trail. Now that you’ve given your F-250 Super Duty a lift, you’ll need a shock absorber that can deliver the handling and damping performance it deserves. For this purpose, you need the Bilstein B8 5100 Series Rear Shock for 1.50 to 3-Inch Lift. This rear shock is engineered to provide faster, “customized” damping response and precise handling courtesy of its monotube gas-charged build and advanced velocity-sensitive digressive valving technology. On the highway, this shock delivers a firm but smooth ride quality with the same accurate handling. These factors allow you to take your truck out on the trails straight from taking the kids to school.
Tough Build Quality. This rear damper features a shock body crafted from high-grade tubular steel, offering strength and durability. The steel is then machined to give it a 46mm diameter, providing efficient heat dissipation. Additionally, its 14mm piston rod is crafted from chrome-hardened steel, giving it the toughness it needs for regular off-roading. Meanwhile, its bushings are made from premium neoprene rubber for excellent vibration absorption. Finally, this assembly receives zinc plating and a clear topcoat for ideal protection against corrosion.
No Nonsense Install Procedure. This rear shock mounts onto your Super Duty’s factory rear shock locations without the need for extra drilling in most applications. Moreover, installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
