This rear shock combines a monotube gas-charged design with a unique velocity-sensitive digressive internal valving. These features combine to provide you with a near-instantaneous damping response off-road and a firm but smooth ride quality on the highway characterized by excellent handling. This damper also uses high-grade neoprene rubber bushings designed to help reduce vibrations, improving ride quality.
High-Strength Build Quality. This rear shock absorber features a 46mm shock body machine formed from high-quality alloy, providing durability as well as ideal heat dissipation. Also, its 14mm piston rod is manufactured from chrome-hardened alloy, making it brawny enough for the trails. Lastly, the shock body receives a tough zinc plating before being finished in a clear topcoat for maximum corrosion protection.
Trouble-Free Install Procedure. This rear shock utilizes your factory rear shock location as its installation area. No extra drilling or other modifications are needed in most applications. What’s more, installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
