This rear shock delivers precise handling and faster damping performance by combining a monotube gas-charged design with specialized velocity-sensitive digressive valving technology. Similarly, these features translate to a firm but smooth highway ride that’s marked by a reduction in body roll. Moreover, this rear shock uses high-grade neoprene rubber bushings that minimize vibrations for an even more comfortable ride.
Rugged Build Quality. This rear shock features a 46mm wide shock body machined from rugged alloy, offering maximum durability as well as excellent heat dissipation for consistent performance. Its 14mm piston rod is likewise crafted from chrome-hardened alloy, providing ideal strength for the trails. Rounding out its construction is a durable zinc plating and wear-resistant clear topcoat for the ultimate corrosion protection.
Hassle-Free Install Procedure. Installing this rear shock is a fairly hassle-free procedure as this will mount onto your F-150’s factory counterpart’s location without the need for drilling or other modifications. Also, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete.
