Description
Performance Front Shock. The Belltech Nitro Drop II Front Shock for 0 to 2-Inch Drop enhances suspension performance and ride quality for lowered vehicles. Designed to provide smooth damping and firm control, it is made for front-end use in trucks lowered up to 2 inches to maintain proper handling and comfort. Installation works seamlessly with lowering springs or blocks without compromising vehicle dynamics.
Construction and Appearance. This shock is built with metal dust boots to improve durability and protect against debris, hardened chrome 12.5mm piston rods for strength and reduced wear, and triple lip NBR rod seals that safeguard internal components. A Teflon guide bushing and low-friction Teflon seals on 30mm pistons promote smooth operation. The 45mm wide body enhances oil volume, aiding in improved heat dissipation, while OEM-quality rubber bushings provide secure mounting and reduce vibration.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for experienced enthusiasts using basic tools; no drilling or modifications are necessary. This part directly replaces the factory front shocks, fitting existing mounting points.
Application. This front lowering shock is designed specifically for 1999-2006 2WD Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trucks, excluding Hybrid and SS models.
