Description
Heavy-Duty Adjustable Track Bar. The BDS Adjustable Front Track Bar for 0 to 4-Inch Lift replaces the stock front track bar on lifted trucks to recenter the front axle. It allows for precise alignment adjustments over a wide range of lift heights, ensuring optimal vehicle handling and suspension geometry. This adjustment capability is essential to maintaining proper steering and reducing premature component wear.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 1-3/8" solid steel stock and reinforced with gusseted ends, this track bar offers exceptional strength and durability. It features a center pinch-bolt style turnbuckle made from fine-threaded steel for precise adjustment. The component is specifically formed to avoid contact and stress on frame and axle mounts and is finished to provide a robust and reliable suspension upgrade.
Installation. Installation requires approximately one hour and does not require drilling or modification of factory mounts. The design facilitates a straightforward replacement process with minimal vehicle disassembly.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 2017-2026 4WD Ford F-250 Super Duty trucks with factory lifts from 0 to 4 inches using the stock track bar bracket. For lifts between 4 to 8 inches, an extended track bar bracket is required, which is sold separately.
