Description
Advanced Turbocharger Upgrade. The ATS Diesel Performance Aurora 4000 VNT Stage 2 Turbocharger System is a purpose-built performance turbo designed to replace the factory twin-scroll turbo found on 2011-2014 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks, as well as 2011-2016 Ford Cab & Chassis models. It significantly enhances power output and reliability, catering specifically to vehicles equipped with modified or aftermarket tuning.
Construction and Appearance. This turbocharger features 100% all-new components, including an HSM turbine housing and a stainless steel VNT turbine pack. It is equipped with a custom billet 8x8 compressor wheel and an oversized mixed-flow turbine wheel for improved airflow. The ATS velocity stack compressor section and fully hydraulic actuator demonstrate high-quality materials and precise manufacturing designed for durability and longevity. The design integrates technology from the Aurora VFR turbo line and includes double journal bearings for higher horsepower capacity and better reliability.
Installation. Engineered as a straightforward drop-in replacement, this turbocharger requires no additional hardware, piping modifications, or drilling. Installation complexity is moderate and is suitable for professional installers and experienced enthusiasts.
