Description
PowerStep Running Boards. The AMP Research PowerStep Running Boards provide convenient, automatic deployment and retraction to assist in entering and exiting tall vehicles. Designed for seamless integration, they deploy when the door opens and retract after closing to maintain ground clearance and the vehicle’s sleek appearance.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum with a military-grade black PTFE coating, these running boards deliver durability, strength, and a textured slip-resistant surface. The cab-length boards measure 6 inches wide and include low-profile integrated LED courtesy lights for enhanced visibility.
Installation. Installation requires mounting to the vehicle's rocker panel and connecting to the OBDII port via a plug-and-play module, allowing for a clean setup without drilling. Professional installation is recommended, though experienced DIYers may manage the process.
Warranty. This set of PowerStep running boards is backed by a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
