Justin: If you're looking for a somewhat affordable and very unique under seat storage solution for your 2015 through 2020 F-150 at home, then you might wanna check out the RedRock two-piece option shown here today in black. Now, the RedRock will help keep miscellaneous items from rolling around the back floor of your F-150 and will pack a very durable and very rigid ABS plastic build along with the removable carry portion for the high $100 price point. So, if you guys are like me, then chances are you have a little bit of everything underneath the rear seat of your SuperCrew or SuperCab F-150. Maybe some cleaning stuff, recovery gear, a few tools, and so on. Now, luckily, Ford does include a little tiny space on the '15 through '20 trucks. But honestly, that tends to fill up pretty quickly. And at that point, you're basically looking for other options or just content with everything rolling around your floor. And that's where the RedRock option comes into play. Again, right around 200 bucks here, guys, it's a great solution to adding a considerable amount of storage space to the rear or the cab of your truck. It will do so in a very lowkey way. And what I mean by that is this thing is completely out of sight once those rear seats are folded down and best of all, it does not interfere with any of the foot space for your rear passengers. Now, unlike other under-seat storage solutions, the RedRock piece does feature a two-piece design that does mount using the included hardware and not straps. I personally like this because this method feels a bit more sturdy overall compared to the strap method. Now, the two-piece design allows for my favorite feature. It might be a bit silly, but you do have this removable section here along with a couple of the built-in handles that basically allow you to take this and whatever is in here with you in a moment's notice, right? Now, these could be tools, cleaning supplies, you can use it to do some shopping. Hey, I don't know whatever, the sky is the limit. And again, this is one of the only under-seat storage solutions that delivers not only the two-piece design but a functional removable piece that can be used as sort of a carry-off.Now, the boxes themselves are made from a durable ABS plastic material here, guys. Some owners might like this. They might like the ruggedness of it. Others might prefer more of the softer, more pliable kind of rubberized material that you'll see with the WeatherTech option. I feel like the benefit to that softer material is more of a sound-deadening thing. You're not gonna hear stuff sliding around in the box itself. With the RedRock option, you might hear some stuff sliding around if it's not fully loaded or loaded properly. Now, the box is loaded and is compatible, I should say, with all trim level trucks, including the Raptor, and can be used in conjunction with a factory subwoofer or without, totally up to you. Now, let's get into the install here, guys. Site's gonna correctly call this a pretty soft one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, guys. Not a difficult job, as you might imagine, so, therefore, leave yourself about 30 minutes or less from start to finish. But now to give you a better idea of just how the RedRock will get in place, check out this detailed walkthrough from an AT customer now.Man: All right. Tools used for this install, 10-millimeter socket wrench and a 10-millimeter wrench. And the first step is going to be installing the L brackets for the smaller bin that goes under the small seat. And we're gonna do that right now. Tools, just a 10-millimeter socket wrench and a 10-millimeter wrench to screw these things in. You wanna start at the bottom hole and work your way up just because it'll lay a little flatter on the floor. And again, not very hard just to... If you've got big fingers, sometimes it'll be a little challenging. All right. Tighten that up. And bro, first one is in. All right. The second bracket. Then you wanna start down here at the bottom and work your way up. There's actually three holes on this bracket. So, you can either go from the top or the bottom. You know, I played around with it a little bit. It seems to fit a little better if you start from the bottom, so... All right. Tighten that up. All right. Very good. And step one is done. All right. Step two is installation of the larger box which we're gonna use the four 15-millimeter bolts and four washers, and then the four nuts. So, it looks like it's already been pre-drilled. So, that lines up pretty good. So, all we need to do is get our bolts and our washers and get them screwed in there. Again, these things have been pre-drilled, so they kind of line up with the holes already in the Ford back seat. So, that's kind of nice. Get in there and finger tight and then you go back and tighten them down. Okay.Again, we're still using the 10-millimeter socket and the 10-millimeter wrench. [inaudible 00:06:05] just a slight angle there. And you don't need a lot of pressure, a lot of torque just tighten them down. They're not gonna be going anywhere. Crank it down too hard. Okay. All right. Step two is complete. All right. Step three. The last step is just installing the smaller storage container into the L brackets that we installed in step one. Let me sit down there pretty good. Okay. I think this build is done.Justin: So, if you are looking for a unique way to keep your truck a bit more organized along with being able to conveniently take some gear with you when needed, then be sure to check out this option from RedRock right here at americantrucks.com.
