High-Performance Exhaust. The AFE Large Bore-HD 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Exhaust System with Black Tip is engineered to improve exhaust flow and reduce temperatures for diesel trucks. It helps increase horsepower, torque, and engine efficiency by minimizing backpressure and turbulence. This system is designed for diesel enthusiasts seeking reliable performance improvements.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 409 stainless steel with precise mandrel bends, the exhaust is entirely hand MIG-welded for strength and leak resistance. The black stainless steel slash cut tip includes intercooling vents and a riveted laser-cut logo plate, delivering durability alongside an aggressive visual style.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory mounting points and OE-style bayonet hangers for a secure fit. Some cutting is required; however, no custom fabrication is necessary, making this suitable for experienced DIY installers and professionals.
Application. This exhaust system fits 2017 through 2026 6.7L Powerstroke Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty models. It is not compatible with vehicles equipped with the factory 5th wheel hitch due to clearance restrictions.
