Increase Power and Performance. Get this black AFE Quantum Cold Air Intake With Pro DRY S Filter for your Ford F-150 to experience dyno-proven performance gains. This intake system has a dyno-tuned intake tube coupled with a progressive and oil-free 3-layer filter. The combination results in a 35% improvement in airflow, which then delivers gains of up to 10 horsepower and up to 15 pound-feet of torque. This intake system also comes with the added benefits of improved throttle response and better mileage.
No Need for After-Installation Tuning. You don’t need to get a custom tune after installing this cold air intake. It’s ideal to get a custom tune if you have multiple upgrades, however, to get the best possible performance out of each.
Progressive Oil-Free Pro DRY S Filter. To offer superior filtration, this cold air intake uses a washable Pro DRY S filter. With its 3 layers of progressively finer synthetic filter media, this oil-free filter can block even the smallest particles in the intake air. It also features a multi-angle velocity stack on the base to help enhance airflow. Finally, the filter is enclosed in a roto-molded housing to protect it from the hot air coming from the engine bay.
Cross-Linked Polyethylene Inlet Tube. AFE chose a dyno-tuned cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) inlet tube for this intake system. XLPE has high heat soak resistance, which helps keep the intake air cool. In addition, XLPE is extremely durable and resistant to high pressure. Meanwhile, the minimal bends and wide diameter of the pipe make sure that the air will flow much smoother and faster.
Direct-Fit Installation. This cold air intake is designed for a bolt-on installation, directly replacing the stock system. All you need are basic hand tools to mount the entire system, which will take approximately 1 hour.
Protected by a 2-Year Limited Warranty. AFE guarantees that this cold air intake system will be free from material and workmanship defects for 2 years from the date of purchase.
