      Improves Braking Performance. For heavy-duty braking that doesn’t sacrifice daily usage, get this black Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit With Drilled & Slotted Rotors. It delivers more efficient braking, with fixed aluminum calipers that help the brake pads produce more consistent friction from both sides of the rotor. With this brake kit installed, you’ll notice more powerful yet smoother braking performance. This means you can use this brake kit for daily driving and more performance-intensive applications.

      Fixed-Design Calipers Crafted From Aluminum. This big brake kit features heavy-duty AERO4 series aluminum calipers. These have a hollow design, making them even more lightweight and yet incredibly strong. In addition, the 4-piston design of these calipers helps create increased clamping force on both sides of the rotor. This results in more powerful braking. Lastly, the black coating is highly resistant to extreme heat, cracking, and fading.

      Heavy-Duty Spec 37 Iron Rotors. The rotors that come with this kit are cast using heavy-duty Spec 37 carbon iron. This proprietary formula can withstand much higher temperatures, which in turn helps reduce brake fade. In addition, these rotors have a two-piece design for overall lighter weight. The cross-drilled holes and slots provide a cleaner contact surface for the brake pads, while the vents help enhance heat dissipation. On the other hand, the fixed-mount hats are crafted from iron and help boost the strength and durability of the rotors.

      Metallic BP-10 Brake Pads. The brake pads included in this kit are crafted from a metallic, medium-friction compound called BP-10. These are ideal for light to medium braking situations. However, BP-10 brake pads can also be used for high-performance conditions since they offer powerful braking and quick response. Moreover, these brake pads are less abrasive and produce less brake dust. These factors prolong the lifespan of the rotors and the pads themselves.

      Installs as Direct Replacements or Upgrades. You can use this brake kit to replace your worn-down rotors or as an upgrade for your existing kit. This kit comes with an instruction manual to help you with a DIY installation. Seek professional assistance if you don’t have enough auto-mechanical experience. After installation, which can take about a couple of hours, perform the break-in procedure indicated in the instructions.

      Rear Big Brake Upgrade Kit. This Wilwood rear big brake kit includes 4-piston calipers, two-piece Spec 37 iron rotors, and rear brake pads. Wilwood also included all the hardware and accessories you need for an easy bolt-on installation.
