Description
HIGH-PERFORMANCE BRAKING. The Wilwood Tactical Extreme TX6R Front Big Brake Kit with 16-inch slotted rotors and anodized clear calipers is engineered to provide powerful and reliable stopping performance for heavy-duty trucks and SUVs. It enhances braking capabilities for demanding conditions, ensuring durability and consistent operation even under sustained high heat. This kit is ideal for those requiring an upgrade to their front brake system for improved control and safety.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This brake kit features six-piston calipers finished with Type III anodizing for corrosion resistance and durability. The rotors are constructed from Spec-37 cast iron with a GT-60 curved vane design and a black electro-coat finish to reduce rust and maintain appearance. Radial mounting hardware and precision-machined aluminum hats in black electro-coat add to the quality build and professional look.
INSTALLATION. Installation involves bolt-on radial mount caliper brackets designed for factory disc spindles, requiring no drilling modifications. The kit includes all necessary hardware for a straightforward assembly process suitable for experienced enthusiasts and professional mechanics.
APPLICATION. Specifically designed to fit 2011 to 2012 4WD Ford F-250 Super Duty trucks for optimized performance and proper fitment.
