Description
Front-End Protection. Westin Automotive’s Platinum Bug Shield is designed to protect the front of your vehicle from road debris, the elements, and harsh road conditions. It also preserves your vehicle’s paint that would otherwise be scratched by rock chips. By installing this bug shield, you won’t have to spend money on expensive hood repairs caused by off-road damage.
Durable Construction. This 1-Piece construction is made from high-impact acrylic, which won’t vibrate, flutter, or flex when you’re driving in off-road conditions. It has a stylish smoke color that makes your vehicle stand out. The shield follows your vehicle’s contours perfectly.
Simple Bolt-On Installation. This hood deflector requires a simple bolt-on installation. You won’t have to do any drilling or modify your vehicle in any way for this installation. Open your hood, then attach the shield with the provided screws and washers into the preexisting holes. You’ll need basic mechanical skills for this installation.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. Westin Automotive (formerly Wade) offers a limited lifetime warranty for the Platinum Bug Shield. This warranty protects you against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship. Overtightening the screws will void the warranty. For more information about the terms and conditions of this warranty, please refer to the manufacturer’s website.
Vehicle Fitment. The Platinum Bug Shield fits a variety of vehicles, including 2015-2020 Ford F-150 vehicles, excluding Raptor models. If you’re worried about this bug shield not fitting your vehicle, you can always check with customer support.
