Weathertech Low Profile Hood Protector; Dark Smoke

Sleek Construction. The 2004-2008 Weathetech Hood protector not only protects your hood, the windshield which is all they way up is also safe from road debris, rocks, and bug-kill. The hood protector features a sleek new look that perfectly matches your truck’s rugged appearance.

Tough 2mm Lucite. Lucite is another name for acrylic, a tough polycarbonate material that is transparent, light-weight, shatter-resistant and a suitable alternative to glass. This material is especially suited for protection against hard substances such as rocks. When the Ford F-150 truck is moving fast then the impact of the rocks hitting the car is significantly reduced by the shock absorbent Plexiglas. The 2mm thick Lucite combines the light mass to produce an affordable design. An additional smoked tint provides an unattractive environment for insects thereby reducing the likelihood of gooey bugs sticking to your truck.

Installation. An easy setup waits for you once you purchase this hood protector. Weathertech has streamlined this process for anyone with basic mechanical tools and a decent experience with vehicle repair and maintenance. Weathertech provides easy to use installation hardware combined with an easy to follow video guide. See the video on the manufacturer’s website for more setup details.

Warranty. The Weathertech Hood Protector comes complete with a limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty backs your hood protector against damage by replacing and compensating your purchase.

Application. The Weathertech Hood Protector is specifically designed to be compatible with all 2004 – 2008 Ford F-150 Truck Models. This includes the FX4, FX2, Harley Davidson, STX, XL, XLT, Platinum, Lariat and King Ranch Ford models.
