It delivers extra power, torque, and fuel economy, thanks to its free-flow intake that draws more cold air into the engine. It also enhances your truck’s throttle response so you can experience better control on a range of applications.
No Tuning Required. This cold air intake is tuned to your Silverado 1500’s performance. This lets you install it without requiring custom tuning. For optimum results, however, AmericanTrucks recommends performing custom calibration during installation.
Remarkable Dry Filter. Volant’s DryTech air filter is designed to be reusable and only requires maintenance after 50,000 miles of use, depending on a variety of driving conditions. That’s because this filter comes with a larger filtration capacity which also allows it to trap more microparticles than OE filters.
Efficient, Free-Flow Design. Engineered with larger intake tubes, this air intake draws more cold air into the engine than stock intakes. This helps ensure more efficient engine performance and offers improved fuel efficiency.
Heavy-Duty Character. This cold air intake features a premium-level black polyethylene tube and a heat-resistant air box that is larger than stock air boxes. They are specially built for unrelenting protection against the damaging effects of debris and dust.
Straightforward Installation. This air intake comes with a bolt-on feature and all the required installation hardware. It installs using OE mounting locations so you can quickly set it up without requiring any modifications to your truck.
