No ECU Re-Tuning Needed. This Volant cold air intake gets its performance enhancement courtesy of its turbulence-free inlet tube and dry air filter and does not require a re-tune of your ECU. However, providing your truck’s ECU with re-tune in the future is always a good idea as this will definitely optimize the performance of this air intake.
Easy to Clean DryTech Air Filter. Performing air-cleaning duties is the specialized DryTech air filter engineered for superior filtration while maintaining maximum air flow. This is achieved by a unique oil-less filter medium consisting of synthetic hydrophobic fibers. More significantly, this air filter can be cleaned with just mild soap and warm water after 50,000 miles. What this means is you can go on your driving adventure for much longer.
