Description

The Turbosmart Gen4 CompGate40 External Wastegate; 7 PSI; Black is engineered to manage boost pressure by diverting excess exhaust gases away from the turbocharger turbine, preventing overboost conditions. It is commonly used in turbocharged engines to regulate and maintain desired boost levels for optimal performance and reliability on street and light-duty applications. This unit delivers consistent boost control for pump fuel and E85 setups without motorsport-level complexity.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. The wastegate features a robust stainless steel cast body paired with a lightweight aluminum actuator housing for durability and heat resistance. It incorporates a solid stainless steel valve and a proprietary high-temperature silicon Nomex diaphragm to withstand harsh exhaust conditions. The finish is a sleek black coating, providing an attractive and corrosion-resistant surface.
