Remove four 10mm bolts from along the top of the factory grille (Fig 3). Remove four 10mm bolts from the bottom of the factory grille, two are on the corners and two are in the center of the bottom of the factory grille (Fig 4). These can be accessed from underneath the vehicle or by reaching down through the top of the engine compartment. Remove two 6mm bolts from the forward section of each front fenderwell where the bumper meets the fender (Fig 5 & 6). Now pull up on each top corner of the factory grille while pulling slightly forward, this will release the top of the factory grille (Fig 7). Now grab the top plastic bumper cover at the fenderwell where it meets the bumper (this is where you removed the bolts from earlier) and pull the bumper cover outward until it un snaps (Fig 8). Factory Grille Removal

With the factory grille on the workbench remove the black plastic factory grille intake seal from the back side of the factory grille by removing fourteen 7mm bolts (Fig 10 & 11).

Step 2
Grille Installation

Take the two sport grilles and insert them into the openings on the factory grille (Fig 12). Press the grilles firmly to seat them into the factory grille. Take a J-hook and insert it through the mesh grille near the edge, the hook end will latch onto the mesh grille (Fig 13). On the backside of the factory grille locate the threaded end of the j-hook and place a 1/2” L-Bracket and nylon lock nut on the threaded stud and tighten it, the L-Bracket should latch around the plastic edge on the factory grille (Fig 14). Repeat this with the remaining j-hooks, nylon lock nuts and L-brackets evenly spaced around both mesh grilles. Reinstall the plastic intake seal onto the completed grille. Reinstall the completed grille back onto the vehicle, don’t forget to reinstall the hardware in the fenderwells. Reinstall the radiator cover. Installation complete.
