Construction and Appearance. This mat is expertly constructed with resin-bonded silica blanketing insulation placed between a reflective Foil Skrim Kraft (FSK) facing on one side and a foil facing on the opposite side. The FSK provides a durable vapor and radiant barrier, while the foil surface efficiently conducts and dissipates penetrating heat. The material thickness is approximately one-half inch, ensuring robust insulation and sound dampening.
