Heavy-Duty Towing Solution. The 2.50-Inch Receiver Weight Distribution Hitch Shank (6-Inch Drop) is designed to provide a stable and controlled towing experience by redistributing the weight at the coupling point, leveling the entire vehicle-trailer combination. This shank is compatible with all CURT weight distribution hitches, allowing for precise height adjustments to accommodate various trailer loads.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from solid steel, this hitch shank offers reliable strength for heavy-duty applications. It features a highly durable carbide black powder coat finish, providing long-lasting protection against rain, road salt, and rust. The shank includes multiple holes for adjustable head height, spaced 1-1/4-inch from center to center, with 3/4-inch diameter holes.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring insertion into a 2-1/2-inch x 2-1/2-inch hitch receiver tube opening with a 5/8-inch hitch pin hole. The shank can be flipped to provide the necessary drop or rise, offering a maximum drop of 2 inches and a maximum rise of 6 inches. No drilling is required for installation.
Warranty. This product comes with a limited lifetime warranty, including a one-year warranty on the finish and a one-year warranty on parts.
