Description
High-Performance Control Arm. The TTX Front Lower Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly; Passenger Side delivers exceptional strength and durability for heavy-duty and high-usage vehicles. It provides precise suspension articulation and control to ensure vehicle stability and handling under demanding driving conditions. This assembly is essential for maintaining steering accuracy and overall safety.
Construction and Appearance. Made from forged aluminum, this control arm features advanced sintered metal bearings for maximum durability. It includes a protective Repel-TEK surface treatment on the ball joint to resist corrosion, and an Integri-Boot neoprene dust boot to lock out moisture and contaminants. The assembly has a gold finish on the arm and a green-colored dust boot for both functional and aesthetic quality.
Installation. This part is designed for quick and easy installation, including a part-specific slotted castle nut and snap cotter pin to secure the ball joint. No drilling or special modifications are required, making it an efficient replacement part that reduces labor time.
Application. Compatible with 14-16 4WD Silverado 1500 models equipped with stock aluminum control arms and 17-18 Silverado 1500 models, this control arm assembly replaces both aluminum and stamped steel versions for these vehicles.
