Description
Durable Suspension Component. The TTX Front Lower Ball Joint serves as a critical pivot point connecting the suspension and steering components to the vehicle's wheel hub. It enables smooth and precise wheel movement while supporting vehicle weight and absorbing road shocks, ensuring stability and control. This ball joint is engineered to withstand demanding road conditions and heavy use.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted with patented sintered metal bearings for maximum durability, this unit features a neoprene dust boot to protect internal components from contaminants. The ball joint assembly includes a thicker, stronger flange that prevents deformation during installation, and the fasteners are secured with pre-applied nylok thread adhesive to resist vibration and loosening.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with the included custom adapter ring, slotted castle nut, and snap cotter pin, allowing technicians to install the ball joint quickly without modifications or drilling. The design facilitates servicing through included 180-degree and extended grease fittings positioned for convenient access.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2015 to 2018 Silverado 1500 models equipped with stamped steel control arms, ensuring proper fitment and compatibility with factory suspension setups.
