      Description

Replacing the strikers is a straightforward job that can be done with only a few basic hand tools. This Pair of Tailgate Striker Bolts are direct replacements for the OEM parts on your Silverado, install easily, and may solve your tailgate opening and closing issues.

      Durable Construction. These Striker Bolts from AmericanTrucks are made from solid steel and are ready for a lifetime of service. They come in three pieces so that the bolt length protruding into the bed can be adjusted for your tailgate. This pair of strikers also include new latch bushings, which help to make your tailgate open and close more smoothly and quietly. 

      Direct Replacements. This Pair of Tailgate Striker Bolts are direct replacements for the factory bolts. They can be replaced easily; first, unscrew the taillight to allow access to the striker nut. With a Torx Head socket and a wrench, unbolt the old strikers, and loosely install the new pair. Then, close the tailgate and snug the striker bolts into the correct position. Make sure everything is tightened down, lubricated, and the tailgate works normally. 

      Lifetime Limited Warranty. This Pair of Striker Bolts come with a lifetime limited warranty against defects in materials or manufacturing. Please contact customer service for further details.
