Description
Rear Frame Replacement. The Rust Buster Rear Crossmember is engineered as a direct replacement for the rear frame crossmember prone to rust on Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups from 1999 to 2013. It is designed to restore structural integrity and proper suspension mounting, helping maintain safe handling and extend vehicle service life.
Construction and Appearance. Made from heavy-duty 11 gauge steel, this crossmember features CNC bending and robotic welding for precise fitment. It includes an oil protective coating to guard against oxidation during shipment and is engineered with holes for wiring harness clips and clearance for the spare tire mechanism.
Installation. Installation requires welding and moderate mechanical skill. The crossmember mounts to the rear of the spare tire plate for a seamless fit, and no complex drilling is necessary.
