Description
Simplify Your Lighting Installation. Simplify the installation of your new backup or auxiliary lights with this Backup/Auxiliary Lighting and Switch Kit. This kit features a fully equipped loomed wiring harness and a factory-style lighted switch. This efficient design helps take away the guesswork involved in properly connecting your new lights to the power supply. This kit allows you to draw power directly from your battery minimizing the strain placed on your electrical system. This factor allows you to activate your lights on without having to start your truck. What's more, this kit gives you the option to connect your lights to your reverse lights so these are activated when you're backing up.
Tenacious Build Quality. This kit includes a high-quality wiring harness featuring factory-style connectors molded from tenacious automotive-grade plastic. This harness is also equipped with fuses and a relay integrated into its structure for outstanding performance. Likewise, the included power switch is similarly molded to factory specifications and features a built-in LED light for visibility even in the dark. Finally, the harness is fully loomed to keep the harness protected.
Straightforward Install Procedure. This backup and auxiliary lighting and switch kit is designed to install into your truck using factory locations without the need for cutting or splicing your factory wires. You may, however, need to cut out a hole for the switch and in some instances drill a hole through the firewall to allow the harness to pass through. For the latter, there is however a supplied grommet to keep the installation clean. You may also need to use a pigtail connector in certain applications.
Application. The Backup/Auxiliary Lighting and Switch Kit fits all Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models.
