This hood protector provides your hood’s leading edge with about 5 inches of protective coverage. This design combined with its sturdy construction helps prevent scratches, dings, and dents due to flying pebbles, insects, and other hazards you may encounter both on and off-road. Additionally, its sleek form factor and matte black finish add a rugged style to your truck’s equally rugged design.

      Sturdy Build Quality. This hood protector utilizes high-quality ABS plastic for superior durability and resistance to deterioration in a lightweight package. This material then undergoes a specialized injection molding process for a consistent look and an accurate fit. Rounding out its construction is a matte black finish that’s similar in appearance to the other matte black exterior pieces on your truck. This gives the component a style that won't look out of place.

      Hassle-Free Install Procedure. This Aeroskin hood protector includes an automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape backing for a hassle-free peel-and-stick installation. Before mounting this hood protector, your hood should be thoroughly cleaned and dried before wiping down with the included alcohol pads. This is to ensure complete bonding of the adhesive to the mounting surface. What’s more, when installing this in cold weather, you should first warm-up the mounting surface as the adhesive is more effective if the surface is between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This can be done using a heat gun or hairdryer.

      Application. This Aeroskin Matte Black Hood Protector fits 2019-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, excluding 2022-2024 Trail Boss and ZR2 models.

      Application Notes. Do not drive your vehicle for 24 hours, and do not wash it for 72 hours after installation. This is to give the adhesive time to reach maximum adhesion.
