This hood protector provides roughly five inches of coverage to your hood’s leading edge. This design, when combined with its heavy-duty construction, effectively deflects any kicked-up pebbles, rock chips, insects, and other hazards from damaging your hood. What’s more, its form-fitting design and chrome-look add a sleek style accent to your front end.

      Heavy-Duty Build Quality. This hood protector is made from high-quality ABS plastic using an advanced injection-molding process. This construction results in components that offer exceptional durability and resistance to deterioration, as well as an accurate fit. What’s more, this hood guard features a durable chrome finish for an eye-catching style.

      Convenient Install Procedure. This Aeroskin hood protector is equipped with automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape backing for a convenient peel-and-stick installation process. Please thoroughly wash and dry your hood, and wipe down the mounting surface with the included alcohol pads. This is to ensure proper adhesion of the tape to your truck. Furthermore, when installing this component in cold weather, it is best to warm-up the mounting surface to temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This is because the adhesive is most effective when the surface is warm. You can do this using a heat gun or hairdryer.

      Application. This Aeroskin Chrome Hood Protector fits 2019-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, excluding 2022-2024 Trail Boss and ZR2 models.

      Application Notes. Do not drive your vehicle for 24 hours, and do not wash it for 72 hours after installation. This is to give the adhesive time to achieve maximum adhesion.
