As advanced as your F-150’s drive-by-wire throttle is, it can often feel sluggish, which is not particularly beneficial when you need to overtake a slower vehicle in front of you. Fortunately, the SCT Burst Throttle Booster, CARB Certified, renders this slow throttle response a thing of the past. Specifically, this throttle booster is designed to interface between your pedal and the ECU to modify its signal, increasing throttle sensitivity. By doing so, this booster provides faster acceleration, which can be helpful, especially when overtaking. Additionally, this component comes with a control knob that allows you to adjust throttle sensitivity on the fly by 25% to 100%. This feature permits you to get just the right amount of boost for the scenario you’re in.

      Rugged Build Quality. This throttle booster is ruggedly built with an injection-molded automotive-grade plastic housing. This construction offers excellent shock resistance, ensuring its internal components are well protected. What’s more, this unit is fully sealed against moisture and dust, offering superior off-road protection. Lastly, this booster unit comes in black so it blends nicely with your truck’s interior.

      Easy Install Procedure. This throttle booster is designed to be installed completely by hand. That said, you will need to drill a couple of small holes into your dash or other similar areas if you want to permanently mount the included control knob. Also, this component comes with OEM-style connectors for easy interfacing with your truck’s electrical system.
