Description
Particle Separator. If you live in a dusty area and are tired of constantly cleaning your Powerstroke equipped Super Duty's air filter, then the S&B Truck Particle Separator is for you. This Particle Separator uses military-grade air filtration to keep your air filter clean and your engine protected. As you drive, the dusty air enters the fixed vortex tubes to spin the air around and push the heavier dust to the outer walls. The clean air continues forward through the vortex tube, while the dust is ejected by a specially rated exhaust fan.
Reusable Dry Air Filter. The included high flow S&B air filter effectively filters out power robbing particles with its multi layer design. Seeing that the filter is reusable there is no need to buy a new filter every few thousand miles. You can just clean the filter and reinstall it - saving yourself money in the long haul.
Bolt-on Installation. S&B designed their Particle Separator Air Intake to be a direct bolt-on replacement for your entire factory intake box, tube and air filter. With no special tools or extra modifications required installation can be completed in under two hours. This Separator uses the stock filter minder, so you can quickly and accurately determine when your filter needs to be serviced.
