This intake kit is well-engineered to deliver more oxygen for a more efficient power-generating combustion. It outflows the factory intake by 51.71% and comes with an efficiency rating of 99.90%.
Computer Calibration Not Required. This Cold Air Intake is designed to operate without the need to reprogram your Super Duty’s computer and works perfectly well with the stock tune. It is also compatible with enhanced, custom-tuning for optimum performance.
Premium, Dry Air Filter. S&B includes a premium air filter with a high filtration capacity. The 8-layer, dry extendable media features a pleated design and massive configuration that allow larger air volume and faster velocity to intensify the cooler air charge. This results in significant improvements in raw power and mileage performance. This air filter is also protected by a high-strength, black powder-coated steel mesh cage.
High-Strength and High-Flow Design. Engineered for long-lasting functionality, this Cold Air Intake System is composed of high-quality components. The large-diameter intake tube is made of high-flow and high-strength material for remarkably efficient airflow. S&B also includes a black, zinc-plated bracket for reliable anchoring support so that the intake tube-and-filter assembly remains stable inside the engine bay. Moreover, the swapped locations of the air intake and battery allow the intake to be closer and also directly in line with the front air inlet.
Bolt-On Installation. Featuring a direct-fit upgrade, this Cold Air Intake with Dry Filter fits into your Super Duty’s factory mounting locations with no drilling required. The installation process requires standard hand tools and light to moderate mechanical skills.
