Description
Superior Body Mount Replacement. Replace damaged or worn-out body mount bushing with the S&B Silicone Body Mounts. Your Silverado’s body mount bushings tend to deteriorate over time. These bushings are made from a special silicone rubber blend offering superior durability over your Silverado’s stock body mounts. This feature also makes these mounts a better alternative over aftermarket polyurethane bushings which tend to squeak more. What’s more, these body mounts feature an OE-grade design enabling them to be keyed into your truck’s frame tab for a tight fit.
Resilient Build Quality. These body mount bushings are constructed from specialized silicone rubber making them much more resistant to deterioration. These mounts also feature tough, coated steel cups and high-quality nylon shims for low-noise performance that will last for many years of driving. Lastly, these components come in basic black.
Professional Installation Recommended. These body mounts are designed to directly replace your stock bushings without the need for modifications to your truck. However, installing these parts will require you to loosen and jack-up your truck’s body from its subframe. Also, any hardware that’s corroded may require more specialized methods of removal like grinding or heating with a torch. If this you are not comfortable with this type of installation, please have these mounts installed by a professional.
