Maintain a Smooth Ride. If your Silverado starts to vibrate more than usual, it might be time to replace your body mount bushings. For this, these S&B Silicone Body Mounts are your best choice. These body mounts are made from specially formulated silicone rubber compounds, making these more long-lasting than standard rubber mounts. Furthermore, these body mount bushings are designed to key into your truck’s frame tab for a snug OE-style fit.
Durable Build Quality. These body mount bushings are made from high-grade silicone rubber for extreme resistance to deterioration. These mounts also include heavy-duty steel cups that are coated in a corrosion-resistant finish extending their service life. Meanwhile, high-grade nylon shims help prevent metal to metal noise. Finally, these body mount assemblies feature a basic black color.
Professional Installation Recommended. These body mounts are designed to directly replace your stock bushings without the need for modifications to your truck. That being said, installing these components will require you to loosen and jack-up your truck’s body from its subframe. You may also need to grind out the mounts’ hardware if these are too corroded, which can be complicated due to the hardware’s location. As such, professional installation is recommended.
