      Description

      Big Power Gain Potential from a Flexible CAI Setup. Slash intake restriction by a quarter with the installation of the Roush Cold Air Intake – a component from a company that makes hard-charging racing-related products – in your 2017 Raptor. With a full airbox surrounding the filter element, this CAI features precision CAD design to create a very tight fit between the molding and the underside of the hood to block away engine heat. If you opt to install the 85mm stock MAF, you can expect a power boost of +10 hp and +8 ft-lbs of torque. With a 105mm MAF installed, your truck will develop a ripsnorting +15 horsepower and +18 ft-lbs.

      Tuning Needed for Certain Options. The Roush Cold Air Intake may need an aftermarket tune or not depending on how you decide to set it up during installation. If you choose the 85mm stock MAF, no tuning is required – the OE tune is enough. However, if you select the greater power of the 105mm MAF, then an aftermarket tune is needed to make the intake functional.

      Dry, Washable, Oil-Free Filter. The Roush Cold Air Intake features a dry filter element that is oil-free and does not require re-oiling at any point in the future. This filter can be washed (which is usually not required until approximately the 100,000 mile mark) and reused again and again. It is a high capacity performance filter made out of fabric strengthened with two layers of fine wire mesh.

      Built to Stand Up to Long Use. The Roush Cold Air Intake is made from high-impact, breakage-resistant polyethylene plastic. The airbox is injection-molded plastic, with an EPDM foam heat shield seal to form a better bond with the underside of the hood. A roto-molded intake tube with a black textured surface is attached to this. The component also includes a heat extractor foam insert. The clamps are fabricated from steel. As the icing on the cake of quality the component is 100% made in the USA.

      Choice of MAF Housing for Power Level. When installing the Roush Cold Air Intake, you can choose between setting it up to accept the 85mm stock MAF (lower power, no tune required) or a 105mm aftermarket MAF (higher power, tune required, MAF must be purchased separately).

      Installs as a Replacement for Stock. As a direct fit replacement part for the stock air intake, the Roush Cold Air Intake bolts onto the same mounting positions. No additional drilling, cutting, etc. is needed for installation. The intake is supplied with the hardware and instructions needed for fitment.

      3 Month Limited Warranty. The Roush Cold Air Intake comes with a 90 day limited manufacturer’s warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.

      CARB Exempt, Usable in all 50 States. Designed to 50-state legal and usable anywhere from the coastal highways of California to the remote roads and trails of Upper Midwest, the Roush Performance Cold Air Intake Kit is fully CARB certified. It bears the CARB EO Number #D-418-30. This entitles you to drive it on-road as well as off-road in any location where CARB regulations apply, provided that it is installed so that the CARB compliance sticker is visible when the engine is inspected.

      Application. This Roush Performance Cold Air Intake Kit is specially designed to fit the 2017 F-150 Raptor equipped with the High Output (H.O.) 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine.
